The Dow Jones Transportation Average DJT, -1.40% is taking a 229-point, or 1.5% dive, in afternoon trading, with 18 of 20 components trading lower, despite the rallies in the broader stock market indexes. Leading the transports lower, shares of trucker Old Dominion Freight Inc. ODFL, -5.10% sank 5.1%, marine shipping company Matson Inc. MATX, -4.71% shed 4.9%, air carrier American Airlines Group Inc. AAL, -1.81% dropped 1.9% and railroad operator Norfolk Southern Corp. NSC, -1.71% was down 1.9%.
