6.30am: US stocks seen opening mixed US stocks are expected to open mixed after a choppy start to the year, which saw the Nasdaq decline by around 4.5% in the first week of trading, whilst the S&P 500 was down around 1.9%. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.03% in Monday pre-market trading, while the broader S&P 500 index shed 0.47% and those for the tech-heavy Nasdaq 100 declined 1.37%.
