8.55am: Jobs data below forecast US stock futures turned negative after US non-farm payrolls rose by only 199,000 in December, well below forecasts, while the unemployment rate fell to 3.9%. Payrolls were expected to have expanded by more than 400,000 in after gains of 210,000 in November.
