The recent results of the University of Michigan Consumer Survey indicate that there are major dislocations in the U.S. economy, dislocations that can cause major problems. Consumer sentiment for November, the survey showed, hit its lowest level in a decade and more people expressed concern over rising house prices, vehicle and durable goods prices.
