Institutional fund manager bond weightings are at their lowest levels ever in the 20-year history of Bank of America’s monthly fund manager survey. Based on the personal consumption expenditures price index, also known as the PCE deflator, real bond yields have been lower only once in the last 60 years while inflation is already at its highest level in 30 years.
