US stocks look set to end a choppy positively, with muted gains expected at the start on Friday supported by higher commodity prices amid signs of an easing in tensions between the US and China. Futures for the blue-chip Dow Jones Industrial Average and the broader S&P 500 index both edged up 0.3%, while those for the tech-laden Nasdaq-100 added 0.2%.
