The AIER Everyday Price Index increased by 0.8 percent in May, the sixth consecutive gain following back-to-back decreases in October and November. The Everyday Price Index including apparel, a broader measure that includes clothing and shoes, rose 0.7 percent in May, and also the sixth consecutive increase.
