The stock market hasn’t hit a new historical high for four weeks, but on Friday, both the S&P 500 and the DJIA came very close to reaching new highs. The stock market had been stalling because of current concerns over U.S. inflation and the reality that the Fed could have to “back off” from its current accommodative monetary policy.
