Moderna Inc. MRNA, -3.82% disclosed that Chief Executive Stéphane Bancel’s 2021 salary got a 4.7% bump from the year before, while his total compensation jumped 41%, as he received the value of $3.75 million in stock awards his option awards increased 25% to $11.25 million. The increase in compensation comes as the biotechnology company grew revenue by 2,200% to $18.47 billion in 2021, due primarily to the launch of commercial sales of its COVID-19 vaccine, and as the stock soared 143%.
