Tribe, a tech firm that enables businesses to create customer communities, has received US$7.5mln of backing in a seed funding round. The Canadian company claimed that demand for its community platform has exploded as businesses from the Software as a Service (SaaS) and technology sectors adopt a community-based engagement approach for their customers.
