After more than a year at home due to the pandemic, people are anxious to get out and vacation, but a number of setbacks, including passport backlogs and COVID variants, are being blamed for throwing a wrench in many summer plans. Glenn Fogel, Booking Holdings CEO, joined Cheddar to talk about the state of the travel industry and noted that while there was a considerable drop in booked vacations during the month of July, he expects people to resume travel again soon.
