Stocks opened modestly higher Monday, with bulls finding their footing after major indexes snapped a streak of five straight weekly gains. The Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA, +0.31% rose 113 points, or 0.3%, to 36,214, while the S&P 500 SPX, +0.26% gained 0.2% to 4,693.
