6.35am: US stocks seen opening higher US stocks are expected to open higher after JP Morgan kicked of the US earnings season with stronger-than-expected quarterly results, with revenue and profits boosted by a continued flow of initial public offers and takeover deals. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average futures gained 0.58% in Thursday pre-market trading, while the broader S&P 500 index rose 0.64% and those for the tech-heavy Nasdaq 100 added 0.76%.
