Stocks opened higher Friday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average and S&P 500 on track to snap a four-day losing streak. The Dow DJIA, +0.38% rose 217 points, or 0.6%, to 35,098, while the S&P 500 SPX, +0.43% advanced 0.6% to 4,518.
