12.10pm: Dow pulls back from Wednesday’s all-time US stocks were little changed in noon trading as weekly jobless claims met estimates, while the producer price index rose 0.9% last month, surpassing the consensus forecast of a 0.5% gain. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 86 points, or 0.2% at 35,399, while the S&P 500 eased 2 points to 4450 and the Nasdaq Composite edged up 0.1% to 14,788.
