There’s an abundance of cash floating around the financial system, thanks to the Federal Reserve’s efforts to support the U.S. economy since the outbreak of the pandemic in March of last year. And even if the central bank completes tapering of its $120 billion of monthly bond purchases next year, “cash should continue to grow and remain abundant,” JPMorgan Chase & Co. strategists said in a note Friday.
