12.10pm: US indices higher at lunch US benchmarks were higher at lunch but trading got off to a slow start in the new week. Investors appear to be content to await the testimony from Fed chairman Jerome Powell on Wednesday as well as a slew of US economic reports as the unofficial start of earnings season begins.
