4.10pm: US stocks finish in the green in strong turnaround from last week The Dow Jones jumped 1.79% to close at 33,876.97 for its best day since March 2021, ending a five-session red streak, while the S&P 500 gained 1.4% to finish in the green at 4,224.79 and the Nasdaq was up another 0.79% at 14,141.48. 12.10pm: US stocks higher at lunch US benchmarks were higher at lunch as traders brushed aside inflation fears and basked in renewed optimism of an economic bounce-back.
