Major airlines warned last week that the Delta variant is affecting revenues for third and fourth quarters. A decline in bookings has pushed the cost per available seat miles higher. A bullish case for airlines remains because liquidity ratios continue to improve, and interest coverage ratios are stable such that net debt to EBITDA is likely to decline, providing airlines.
