Honeywell’s second quarter results were mixed, with weaker Aerospace and Safety and Productivity results pulling down Home & Building and Performance Materials & Technology. Long-cycle markets like aerospace, oil/gas, and refining are just starting to recover and have multiyear rebound opportunities, while automation, building controls, and material sciences offer acyclical growth opportunities.
