US stocks look set to edge higher on Thursday ahead of the latest weekly jobless claims and the US trade balance data. Futures for the blue-chip Dow Jones Industrial Average, the broader S&P 500 index, and the tech-laden Nasdaq-100 all rose 0.2%.
