Stocks saw a mixed start Wednesday, with the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite posting small gains a day after both indexes closed at records. The Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA, -0.19% was down 30 points, or 0.1%, while the S&P 500 SPX, +0.04% rose less than 0.1% to 4,488.01.
