Video gaming-themed exchange traded funds strengthened on Tuesday after Microsoft (NasdsaqGS: MSFT) acquired Activision Blizzard (NasdaqGS: ATVI) in an all-cash transaction worth $75 billion. On Tuesday, the VanEck Vectors Video Gaming and eSports ETF (ESPO) increased 1.4% and the Global X Video Games & Esports ETF (HERO) gained 1.2%.
