Shares of Moderna Inc. MRNA, -3.67% were down 2.0% in premarket trading on Monday after the company said it will build an mRNA manufacturing facility in Kenya. Moderna plans to manufacture drug substance at the new facility and produce up to 500 million doses of its vaccines there every year, at a cost of $500 million to the company.
